These terms and conditions apply to the use of this website at howals.co.uk. By accessing this website and/or placing an order, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. We may revise these terms and conditions at any time so you should check each time you place an order.
We are a mail order company only and do not have a premises for viewing or collection.
Once you purchase from our website you entering a legally binding contract with ourselves.
1.1 You are deemed to place an order with us by ordering through our online checkout process.
1.2 Our acceptance of your order takes place when we dispatch your order. The purchase contract will be made when we dispatch your order even if your payment has been processed immediately, unless we have notified you that we do not accept your order or you have cancelled your order.
1.3 We may refuse to accept an order:
Where goods are unavailable.
Where we cannot obtain authorisation of your payment.
Where there is a pricing or product description error.
Price and Payment
2.1 The price of the goods is stipulated in the current list price at the date of order or as agreed between parties. The price includes VAT and delivery charges.
2.2 Payment of the total purchase price must be made before dispatch of the goods.
Blow Mould Manufacturing
Most of the ride on cars and bikes we sell are made by injection blow moulding. Blow moulding is a process which involves blowing sheets of plastic with hot air to make moulds for production of the car or bike, sometimes this process does not create a perfect bodywork or uniform colour, there may be marks or sinks (small dents). These are cosmetic flaws and does not affect the strength or durability of the body. This is no reason to claim the bike is faulty and we will not accept returns for this.
We do not manufacture the ride on toys, therefore the stickers are applied at the factory. Sometimes the stickers may be wonky. We do not accept returns for wonky stickers.
Some of our goods are covered by a twelve month return-to-base warranty against manufacturing defects and graded items carry a 30 day guarantee. Goods that are covered by warranty will have a warranty note in the goods description.
A return-to-base warranty means that if you wish to return the goods to our workshop for direct technical inspection and/or repair, this must be done at your own cost. If the fault is found to be a manufacturing defect that could not have been resolved by remote assistance, we will repair or replace the goods as necessary and return it to you free of charge. However, if the fault is found to be user error or could have been resolved by remote assistance, we reserve the right to charge for labour and return cost as necessary.
In the vast majority of cases, replacement parts and/or remote assistance will resolve any issues. We have a dedicated support department which will be able to provide you with technical assistance, including spare parts. Spare parts required due to misuse or a damage will be charged.
